Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed Secondary School Examination of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.
Local Language Proficiency: The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard.
Other Qualifications: The candidate should proficiency in following fields
- Knowledge of computer
- Knowledge of cycling
- Adequate means of livelihood
The age criteria for the recruitment are as follows:
- The minimum age limit is 18 years.
- The maximum age limit is 40 years.
Age relaxation will be provided as per the category:
- SC/ST candidates will have a relaxation of 5 years.
- OBC candidates will have a relaxation of 3 years.
- PWD candidates will have a relaxation of 10 years.
- PWD-OBC candidates will have a relaxation of 13 years.
- PWD-SC/ST candidates will have a relaxation of 15 years.
The application fee details for the recruitment are as follows:
- General/OBC category candidates: Rs. 100/-
- SC/ST/PH category candidates: Nil (No fee)
- Female candidates: Nil (No fee)
