Salary Structure:
The pay scale for the selected candidates will be as follows:
Initial salary: ₹20,700
Increment of ₹1,200 after every 3 years until ₹24,300
Increment of ₹1,440 after every 4 years until ₹30,060
Increment of ₹1,920 after every 6 years until ₹41,580
Increment of ₹2,080 after every 2 years until ₹45,740
Increment of ₹2,370 after every 3 years until ₹52,850
Increment of ₹2,850 until the maximum salary of ₹55,700 is reached.
Eligibility Criteria of RBI Junior Engineer Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 21 years old and should not have exceeded 30 years of age as of June 01, 2023.
Age Relaxation: The following category-wise age relaxations are applicable:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years for General/Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 15 years for SC/ST/PwBD, and 13 years for OBC/PwBD.
Educational Qualification:
For Junior Engineer (Civil):To be eligible, candidates should have completed a minimum of three years of Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute, University, or Board. The minimum required marks are 65% (55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories).
Alternatively, candidates can possess a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories).
For Junior Engineer (Electrical):Candidates must have completed a minimum of three years of Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized Institute, University, or Board. The minimum required marks are 65% (55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories). Alternatively, candidates can possess a Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories).
Experience:
Junior Engineer (Civil):
Candidates with a Diploma should have a minimum of 2 years of experience, while those with a Degree should have at least 1 year of experience in executing and overseeing civil construction work and/or maintaining office buildings, commercial buildings, or residential complexes. They should have a basic understanding of RCC design and other civil works, as well as working knowledge of computers. Additionally, experience in preparing tenders for civil works is desirable. Alternatively, candidates who have completed a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) are also eligible.
Junior Engineer (Electrical):
Diploma holders should have a minimum of 2 years of experience, while Degree holders should have at least 1 year of experience in executing and supervising electrical installations in large buildings or commercial buildings. This experience should include working with HT/LT substations, central AC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, fire alarm systems, and similar equipment. Alternatively, candidates who have completed a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU are also eligible.
