The eligibility criteria for Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES) recruitment are as follows:
Age limit: To be eligible for Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES) recruitment, candidates should meet the following age requirements:
- The candidate must be at least 16½ years old.
- The candidate must not be older than 19½ years.
- These age limits are determined based on the first day of the month in which the course is scheduled to start.
- Specifically, the candidate's birth date should fall between 02 Jul 2004 and 01 Jul 2007, inclusive.
- Candidates born before 02 Jul 2004 or after 01 Jul 2007 would not meet the age criteria and are not eligible.
The educational qualification required for Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES) recruitment is as follows:
To be eligible for Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES) recruitment, candidates must fulfill the following educational criteria:
- Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent qualification.
- The minimum aggregate required is 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- The marks obtained in the Class XII examination will be considered for calculating the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) percentage.
- The eligibility criteria for calculating PCM percentage may differ for various state and central boards.
- Only marks obtained in Class XII will be taken into account for determining eligibility, and marks from other examinations will not be considered
- Candidate must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2023 examination.
